Residents are required to license their dogs in the City of Becker per City Ordinance, Chapter 10, Section 10.06, Subdivision 3. Single Family Homes are allowed to have up to three dogs in their households. All dogs must be licensed when they reach six months of age and are eligible for rabies shots.
License fees are $10 per dog and are good for their lifetime; however, rabies certificates must be submitted when shots are updated. Click on the link below to complete the Dog License Application.
Please note, you will need to submit paperwork from your veterinarian showing the rabies expiration date when applying. One application must be completed for each dog.
You can get licenses at City Hall. If you would like to submit your paperwork by email and pay by credit card, or if you have any questions, call 763-200-4239 for further instruction.
